The People's House, Washington, D.C.
The People's House, Washington, D.C.

This is another invented landscape. For many years the White House has been also called, "The People's House", as a way of referencing pride in both our American democracy and the home of our elected President. However, as our country has moved further and further away from this ideal, I decided to create a souvenir postcard depicting historic neglect of soldiers who have served in the armed forces and the lack of services, housing and medical facilities for them.
